Armenia: 2 - Turkey Turkuaz 2 !!

Third round of the Olympiad has completed at 8 pm. The most notable result came from the second table. Young players of the Armenia, whose ELO average is above 2300, lost two points to Turkey Turkuaz team. The only grand master of the tournament Samvel Ter-Sahakyan (2504), lost half point to FM Burak Fırat (2365). A nice attack in the endgame coming from Engin Toprak carried Turkey Turkuaz to a higher ranking.

Another important match was held by the two undefeated leaders with no point losses, Georgia and India. Draws on the 1st and 4th boards were the only points Georgia could get. Brilliant games played by Das Debashis and Aditya Udeshi helped India to maintain its number one position.
Talented player of Russia FM Ivan Bukavshin was the guy who carried his team a step forward against Hungary. Thanks to draws coming from 2nd, 3rd and 4th boards, the match ended as 2,5 – 1,5.
Tommorow the games are going to start at 4 pm.
